Activities of the MCFS 2011

January 2011:

The annual New Year Dinner of the Malta China Friendship Society attended by more than 150 members and friends, was held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana  - to celebrate the 39th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Malta and China.  It was held under the patronage of H.E. Mr Zhang Keyuan, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China.

A high level Chinese delegation led by Mr. Zhang Zuoji,  Permanent Member and Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited the Headquarters of the Malta China Friendship Society (MCFS) in Valletta during which the two sides engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest. The other members of the Delegation were Mr. Wang Weiqiang, Member of the Economic Committee and Former Chief Supervisor of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Mr. Song Fengqiang, Member of the Economic Committee of the CPPCP and President of the Henan Green Zhongyuan Modern Agriculture Group, Mr. Liu Guanfeng  Inspector at the Office of the Economic Committee of the CPPCC, Mr. Jiang Hongbin Personal Assistant to Mr. Zhang Zuoji and Mr. Zhu Wenming Deputy-Director at the Office of the Economic Committee of CPPCC.
